Overview: Zellwood Station Country Club occupies rolling terrain northwest of Apopka. The course is known for unusual short par 4s, a long par 3 and the dry-lake hazard nicknamed Crater Junction.
History: The course was built in 1974 as part of the Zellwood Station community. Current course data credits George Maddox, while the club and Florida State Golf Association continue to list an active 18-hole course, pro shop and tee-time program.
Did You Know? Two par 4s are described as driveable at roughly 264 and 266 yards, while another par 3 reaches 243 yards. The combination gives Zellwood Station a distinctive mix of tempting short holes and a very long one-shotter.
