Overview: Wyncote Golf Club is a public, links-influenced course in Oxford, Pennsylvania. Brian Ault’s routing works across open former farmland, rolling ground, and broad views rather than relying on dense tree corridors, giving the course a distinctly inland interpretation of Scottish and Irish golf.
History: The Pepple family began planning a course on its farm in the late 1980s and partnered with architect Brian Ault to shape the property. Wyncote opened in 1993 and remains family-owned and operated, with the original emphasis on land stewardship and welcoming daily play still visible in its character.
Did You Know? The course grew from the Pepple family farm. Its open fields and natural contours were retained as part of the design, so the agricultural history of the Oxford property remains part of the visual experience rather than being hidden beneath a manufactured resort landscape.
