Overview: Wroclaw Golf Club lies within easy reach of the city, on the former grounds of a military training area. The course uses gentle rises, numerous ponds and a mixture of open and wooded corridors to create a varied 18-hole round. Jeremy Pern gave the exposed sections a links influence, while the holes beside woodland and lakes take on a parkland character. The contrast is central to the course's identity: it can feel open and breezy on one hole, then enclosed and positional on the next.
History: The site was originally almost flat, so the course's modest elevation changes and many ponds were shaped into the property during construction. The official club description notes that traces of the former military ground remain visible in places, giving individual holes an unusual historical texture. USGA-standard greens and careful greenkeeping have since helped the course mature into a modern Wroclaw golf venue.
Did You Know? Wroclaw's course is deliberately built around two architectural moods. Jeremy Pern used links-style openness for the exposed holes, then switched to a parkland rhythm along the forest and beside the lakes. That change of character is created within one compact routing, so club selection and visual strategy can shift quickly from hole to hole.
