Overview: Winged Foot's East Course is the second private 18-hole routing at the Mamaroneck club. It shares Tillinghast's demanding bunkering and green complexes with the West, but its own sequence of par threes, doglegs and recovery shots gives it a distinct rhythm.
History: The East opened with the West in June 1923 as part of Winged Foot's original two-course plan. It has hosted major championship golf, including the 1929 U.S. Open, and the club's continuing restoration work keeps the historic Tillinghast structure central to the course.
Did You Know? The famous Winged Foot property is designed as four alternating loops, allowing the East and West courses to fit together across one unusually compact historic site.
