Overview: Wine Valley Golf Club spreads across rolling ground in Walla Walla, with the Blue Mountains visible beyond the fairways. Dan Hixson’s design uses the scale of the site to create open lines of play, changing elevation, and a mix of broad corridors and more defined landing areas.
History: Wine Valley opened in August 2009 as a Dan Hixson design. The course’s development brought a large-scale public layout to the Walla Walla Valley, a region better known outside golf for its vineyards and agricultural landscape.
Did You Know? The course sits in the Walla Walla Valley in the shadow of the Blue Mountains, a setting that explains both its open views and its name.
