Overview: Perched on the southern slopes of the Kilpatrick Hills, Windyhill Golf Club is an elevated and atmospheric parkland course that offers some of the most panoramic views in West Dunbartonshire. Established in 1908 and featuring design input from James Braid, the layout follows the natural undulations of the hillside, providing a technical test that is heavily influenced by the prevailing winds. The course is characterized by its fast-running fairways, mature timber, and spectacular vistas across the city of Glasgow toward the peaks of the Southern Highlands. It is a true "mountainside" parkland round that rewards creative shot-shaping and stamina.
Did You Know? The club's signature hole, the 15th, sits at one of the highest points of the course and provides an uninterrupted view of the entire Clyde Estuary. Windyhill is often cited as one of the most physically demanding but visually rewarding rounds in the West of Scotland.
