Overview: The Faldo Championship Course at Wildfire Golf Club is a unique desert-style layout designed by six-time major winner Nick Faldo. Opened in 2002, the course is inspired by the classic Australian Sandbelt courses, featuring massive, irregularly shaped bunkers and a routing that emphasizes strategic positioning over raw distance. The par-71 layout winds through the rugged Sonoran Desert, offering wide fairways that transition into large, complex green complexes that require a deft touch and creative short-game play.
Did You Know? The Faldo Course features over 100 bunkers, many of which are strategically placed to challenge even the best ball-strikers, reflecting Nick Faldo's emphasis on "thinking man's golf."
