Wild Coast Sun Country Club

Overview: Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., Wild Coast Sun Country Club is a dramatic coastal course situated on the Transkei coast. Winding along the Indian Ocean, the layout features ravines, water hazards, and fairways framed by tropical vegetation.

History: Opened in 1983, the course was built to accompany the Wild Coast Sun resort development. It has hosted several Sunshine Tour events, including the annual Wild Coast Sun Challenge.

Did You Know? The par-three 13th hole requires a shot across a deep, subtropical waterfall-fed ravine, where golfers must battle strong winds off the Indian Ocean.
