Overview: White Heron is a public Davenport course with rolling terrain, native pines and palms, wetlands and more than 100 natural sand bunkers. It plays to par 72 and about 7,290 yards from the back tees, with water and wetlands in play on 16 holes.
History: The course opened in 1994 as Ridgewood Lakes Golf Club and was designed by Ted McAnlis. It later became White Heron and received upgrades beginning in 2020, including Champions G12 greens reported as complete in 2022.
Did You Know? The layout uses elevation changes, sand and wetland hazards across a large property instead of relying only on flat residential corridors. The former Ridgewood Lakes name is an important identity alias for older course records.
