Overview: West Orange Country Club is an 18-hole private course in Winter Garden. Lloyd Clifton's parkland layout uses mature trees, ponds and a winding creek to create a traditional Central Florida club experience.
History: The club opened in 1967, founded by West Orange County citrus families. The course was rebuilt in 2006 with TifDwarf grass, and the club has continued to maintain its private member-and-guest identity.
Did You Know? West Orange's historic entry arch has become important beyond golf: the City of Winter Garden is relocating it as part of the Tucker Ranch Park and Nature Preserve project. The arch preserves the former club's local history.
