Overview: WeaverRidge Golf Club is a public Hurdzan/Fry course in Peoria, Illinois. The layout follows rolling hills and dramatic forested stream valleys, using elevation changes, broad tee choices, and undulating greens to create a substantial course that remains approachable from several distances.
History: WeaverRidge opened in 1997 as a Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry design. The architects used the natural valleys and existing landforms as the organizing structure, giving the Peoria course a strong landscape identity rather than a flat suburban feel.
Did You Know? The course’s name reflects its Peoria setting, but the playing experience is defined by the stream valleys below the fairways. Those valleys provide much of the elevation change and visual separation between holes.
