Overview: Groendael is a nine-hole course opened in 2007 with a striking setting between city and dune landscape. Designed by Bruno Steensels, it combines bold bunkering, quick greens and a wind-exposed character that makes club selection anything but routine. The holes are compact in number, but not in ambition. It is stylish, modern and much tougher than many first-time visitors expect.
History: The course was designed by Bruno Steensels and opened in 2007 as a par-35 layout. One of its signature features is a long par 5 that stretches through big bunkers and water hazards toward an unusually large, heavily contoured green. The site sits between urban development and natural dunes.
