Overview: The Lake Course at Wasatch Mountain State Park is a public eighteen-hole course in Midway, Utah, set on gentler ground than the park’s Mountain Course. Its parkland character comes from tree-lined corridors, open views and a layout that uses the Wasatch landscape without requiring the same amount of climbing.
History: The Lake Course opened in 1967 and is the older of Wasatch Mountain’s two eighteen-hole routings. It has operated as part of the state-park golf facility for decades, with the Mountain Course added later in 1998.
Did You Know? The Lake Course is the shorter and more approachable sister routing, but it still includes the broad mountain scenery that defines the property. Keeping the Lake and Mountain names separate avoids confusing two different courses at the same state park.
