Overview: Disney's Magnolia is an 18-hole resort course at Walt Disney World, with the current official page listing 7,560 yards from the black tees. Joe Lee created the original course, later work involved Arnold Palmer Design, and the routing combines a long par-72 test with pine, water, and Audubon habitat.
History: Magnolia opened on October 1, 1971, as one of the original Walt Disney World golf courses. It hosted the Disney Classic from 1971 through 2012 and has since been reimagined while retaining its Disney resort identity.
Did You Know? The course includes the four-hole sequence known as Grumpy's Gauntlet on holes 14 through 17. Disney also gives the holes themed names, connecting the course details to the wider resort rather than treating the layout as an anonymous golf facility.
