Walnut Cove Golf

Overview: Walnut Cove is a Jack Nicklaus Signature course in Arden, North Carolina, set among the Blue Ridge foothills near the Blue Ridge Parkway and Pisgah National Forest. The 18-hole layout reaches 7,167 yards at par 71, moving from former farmland into streams, woodland and mountain terrain.

History: The course opened in 2005 as part of The Cliffs collection. Its routing uses a large mountain landscape, with the front nine associated with former farmland and the back nine returning through native woodland and stream corridors.

Did You Know? The course occupies a setting bordered by the Blue Ridge Parkway and Pisgah National Forest. That proximity gives the layout a strong sense of scale and helps explain why the holes feel more rural than suburban.
