Overview: Wailea Emerald is an 18-hole resort course on Maui designed by Robert Trent Jones II. Lush fairways, volcanic landforms, tropical planting and views toward the Pacific and Haleakala give the course a gentler visual character than the neighboring Gold Course.
History: Wailea's earlier Blue and Orange courses date to the resort's early golf era. Jones replaced the Orange Course in the mid-1990s with the Gold and Emerald layouts, with the Emerald course added in 1995.
Did You Know? The 10th and 17th holes are the only holes on the Emerald Course with water in play, and they share a double green.
