Overview: Wadi Al Saeed Golf Club is a traditional 18-hole sand course located in the secluded Saudi Aramco community of Udhailiyah. While many of its sister courses in the region have been converted to grass, Wadi Al Saeed remains a preserved example of the "outpost" desert golf style. The layout features natural dirt fairways and oiled sand "browns," weaving through a natural desert valley (wadi) that provides significant architectural texture and strategic depth for a course built entirely from the local landscape.
Did You Know? Udhailiyah is the most remote of the major Aramco compounds, and the golf course serves as the primary social and athletic outlet for the international community living there. The name "Wadi Al Saeed" translates roughly to "Valley of Prosperity," a fitting title for a facility that has fostered a dedicated golfing community in the heart of the Eastern Province desert for over half a century.
