Vooty Golf County

Overview: Vooty Golf County is an 18-hole championship course near Manneguda in Telangana's Vikarabad district, roughly an hour west of Hyderabad. The current course page lists par 72 and 6,502 yards on a naturally undulating plateau. Two lakes, two long natural creeks, 43 bunkers and 13 water bodies shape the routing, while USGA-specification greens and Bermuda playing surfaces support the modern course. It is a destination-style layout for the Hyderabad market, combining full-length golf with a quieter plateau setting and a substantial resort development.

History: Vooty was planned as a golf and leisure project by the Dream Valley Group, with Global Golf India managing construction and Pacific Coast Design overseeing the course design. The project developed in stages, with the early course work documented before the present operator began presenting the complete 18-hole routing. Current evidence is stronger for ongoing operation than for a single opening date: Vooty has hosted the PGTI Vooty Masters in 2022 and 2024, and its current course page publishes a complete hole-by-hole layout. The profile therefore leaves the opening year null while retaining the confirmed modern course facts.

Did You Know? The third hole is a driveable par four with an island green arranged in three tiers, according to the operator's hole guide. It is a concise example of Vooty's design approach, where the short option is not automatically easy because the player must weigh the carry, the angle into the putting surface and the consequences of missing the target.
