Overview: Villa Del Ray Golf Club was an 18-hole course at 6200 Via Delray in Delray Beach. The club's own course page described tight tree-lined fairways, small well-bunkered greens and seven lakes affecting ten holes.
History: The course underwent a greens replacement in 2006 and continued to operate for many years. Later reporting states that the course closed and that the property was purchased for a planned master-planned community, so the record is now historical rather than an active tee-time recommendation.
Did You Know? The course page's seven-lakes, ten-hole description is a useful way to distinguish Villa Del Ray from nearby Delray Beach courses. It also preserves a concrete detail about the former layout while its long-term property use changes.
