Overview: Victoria Golf And Country Club is an 18-hole course in Victorias City, Negros Occidental, within the Victoria Milling Company compound. The course is arranged as two distinct nines: straighter and narrower fairways on the front nine, followed by rolling terrain, ravines and an island green on the back nine. The blue tees are listed at about 6,725 yards and the course plays to par 72.
History: Victoria Golf and Country Club was established in 1954 as part of the Victoria Milling Company community. The club remains closely connected to the sugar industry and to the surrounding Victorias area, rather than being a modern resort development. Its long operating history gives the course a different character from the newer championship clubs around Manila.
Did You Know? The club's course information describes three tee-based playing lengths, with blue, white and red options, while the routing itself changes character between the two nines. The back nine's ravines and island green provide a sharper visual contrast with the long, straight fairways of the front nine.
