Overview: Verrado Golf Club’s Founder’s Course is an eighteen-hole public desert course in Buckeye, Arizona. John Fought and Tom Lehman routed the layout through White Tank foothills, rock outcroppings, washes, and box canyons, with the longest tees extending to roughly 7,258 yards.
History: Verrado’s original golf course dates to the mid-2000s. It was created as a daily-fee course that could serve a wide range of golfers while retaining the elevation changes and Sonoran desert character of the site.
Did You Know? The course uses five tee boxes and generous landing areas to make the mountain setting playable for more than just expert golfers. That balance between dramatic terrain and accessible teeing is a deliberate part of the Fought and Lehman design.
