Overview: Located in Sommacampagna, just outside Verona, Italy, Verona Golf Club is a highly scenic 18-hole parkland course originally designed by John Harris. Set on a gently rolling agricultural estate in the Veneto region, the layout features wide fairways bordered by mature vineyards and oak trees, deep natural ravines, and large, subtly contoured greens. The course offers a highly playable and strategic experience.
History: Founded in 1960, the club is one of the premier classic private clubs in northeastern Italy. The course has meticulously maintained its historic routing and classic strategic values, serving as a historic center for Italian golf and providing an accessible, traditional venue for the local community.
Did You Know? The course is built entirely within the historic, massive agricultural vineyards of the Custoza wine region. During the harvest season, the entire golf course is enveloped in the incredibly strong, sweet scent of ripening grapes.
