Overview: Veluwse Golf Club is a compact nine-hole woodland course set in the Kroondomein near Hoog Soeren, Gelderland. Designed by C.K. Cotton, the course uses natural valleys, sandy soil and old woodland to create a secluded, richly textured round. The par-72 layout plays 5,575 yards from the blue tees, with rolling fairways and a particularly scenic 9th hole.
History: Founded in 1957, the course was designed by English architect Ken Cotton and opened for play in 1963. The club is situated in the Staatsdomein Hoog Soeren, part of the royal domain around Het Loo, which lends a ‘koninklijk tintje’ (royal touch) to the setting.
Did You Know? Recent updates have been made to holes 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, and 8, keeping the course both challenging and captivating for players of all levels. The club’s location in the crown estate means golfers play surrounded by protected forest and heathland.
