Vasatorps Golfklubb (Tournament Course)

Overview: Located in Helsingborg, Sweden, the Tournament Course at Vasatorps Golfklubb is an 18-hole inland links-style course designed by the American team of Arthur Hills and Steve Forrest. The layout features wide, rolling fairways framed by tall fescue grasses, deep sod-walled bunkers, and large green complexes. Highly exposed to coastal winds, the course demands strategic tee shots and creative ground-game approaches to navigate the firm turf.

History: Opened in 2008, the Tournament Course was built to establish Vasatorps as one of Scandinavia's premier multi-course facilities. Hills and Forrest moved massive amounts of earth to shape the links-style dunes and hollows on what was previously flat farmland. The course went on to host the Helsingborg Open on the Ladies European Tour from 2013 to 2015.

Did You Know? The course is built on a highly advanced sand-based foundation featuring sub-air ventilation systems. This engineering ensures that the putting surfaces remain exceptionally firm, dry, and fast even during Sweden's wet autumn shoulder seasons.
