Union League National Golf Club (Grant)

Overview: Grant is one of three nine-hole courses at Union League National in Swainton, New Jersey. The Fry and Straka project uses the site's sandy terrain, extensive bunkering and native areas to create a nine-hole loop intended to stand on its own or combine with the Meade and Sherman loops.

History: The site began as Sand Barrens Golf Club in 1996. It became Union League National in 2017, and a major Fry and Straka transformation completed in 2022 expanded the property into a 27-hole facility made up of the Meade, Sherman and Grant nines.

Did You Know? More than 100 acres of natural sand define the property, while the redevelopment used large shaped ridgelines and native plantings to create a distinctly sandy New Jersey setting.
