Overview: Twin Creeks Golf and Country Club is an 18-hole par 72 course in the western Sydney region, set across a large property in the Nepean Valley. Graham Marsh designed a par-72 round across 18 holes, combining broad fairways, water, native vegetation and residential-edge views without losing a clear golfing identity. The course provides enough scale for serious play, but the strategic questions are approachable for visitors: where to place the drive, which hazards to challenge and when to use the safer side of a green.
History: The course opened in February 2006 as part of the Twin Creeks country club development. Golf Australia records its later role as a host venue for the New South Wales Open from 2017 to 2019, which gives useful evidence of the layout's competitive scale. The club has continued to operate as a visitor-friendly facility, combining regular golf with the broader amenities of a modern country club.
Did You Know? Twin Creeks was built on an unusually large 850-acre setting for a course so close to Sydney. That space allows the routing to feel less compressed than many metropolitan layouts. Water and property lines still demand accuracy, but the overall impression is of a course where the landscape supplies room for the holes to breathe.
