Overview: The New Course at Trump National Bedminster is a private Tom Fazio II design in New Jersey's rolling Somerset County horse country. Open fairways, wooded holes, wavy fescue and carefully contoured greens give the 7,511-yard routing an English-heathland visual character. Its extra elevation change and varied hole shapes make it a distinct companion to the older course on the property.
History: The New Course opened in 2008 and was designed by Tom Fazio II. It hosted the 2009 U.S. Junior Amateur, while the wider Bedminster property later hosted the 2017 U.S. Women's Open on the Old Course.
Did You Know? The second hole is built in the spirit of a classic Redan, with the green sloping away from the front-right approach. That design feature gives players multiple options, from a conservative short-side line to a more direct shot that uses the slope.
