Overview: Trinity Forest is a private Coore and Crenshaw links-style course on rolling meadow ground south of downtown Dallas. Native grasses, rumpled fairways, dramatic bunkering, and large green complexes give the 7,617-yard layout a ground-oriented character unusual for an urban Texas setting.
History: The course opened in 2016 after being created to attract major championships back to Dallas. The design team worked through the Great Trinity Forest and helped restore roughly 75 acres of Blackland Prairie, turning a former landfill site into a championship golf landscape.
Did You Know? Trinity Forest's rough includes Blackland Prairie native grasses, an ecosystem that has been reduced to roughly one percent of its original extent.
