Overview: Trinity Country Club is an 18-hole private course in Yeoju, set among dense forest and rolling hills southeast of Seoul. Tom Fazio II designed the course, which opened in 2012 and is reported at par 72 and 7,373 yards. Its narrow woodland setting gives the routing a more secluded character than a resort course built on open ground.
History: Trinity was developed and operated by Shinsegae E&C as an exclusive club, with the course and clubhouse treated as separate architectural projects. The club was commissioned for Lee Myung-hee and became one of the notable private-course developments of the Korean golf boom around 2012.
Did You Know? Trinity’s course and clubhouse were designed by different specialists, reflecting the club’s ambition to make the whole property an architectural project rather than simply a golf layout.
