Overview: Trilogy Golf Club at Vistancia is an 18-hole public course in Peoria’s northwest Valley, set among Sonoran Desert foothills and the Blackstone community. Vistancia credits Gary Panks with a par-72 course that opened in 2004 and reaches 7,291 yards from the tournament tees. Native vegetation, broad fairways, shaped bunkers and elevation changes give the course a strong desert identity without making the landscape feel barren. The route is an attractive complement to Scottsdale and Phoenix golf because it adds a northwest Valley destination with mountain views and a more residential, community-based setting.
History: Trilogy at Vistancia was developed as the public golf component of the Vistancia master-planned community. The course opened alongside the community’s growth and has remained a central amenity, with the scorecard offering several tee combinations and a clear progression in difficulty. Its relationship to the nearby Blackstone Country Club is important to the local story, but the two are separate courses with different access models and designers. Gary Panks’s course continues to provide the public-facing golf identity for the community.
Did You Know? Trilogy’s tournament layout reaches more than 7,000 yards, but the scorecard also includes a Tee It Forward route. That range of choices lets the same desert setting play very differently.
