Overview: The Traditional at Breezy Point Resort is an 18-hole, par-68 course on the resort's main property in central Minnesota. The current scorecard lists 5,192 yards, with tree-lined corridors, short holes and a compact resort routing that rewards accuracy over distance. It is the historic Traditional course at 9252 Breezy Point Drive, not Deacon's Lodge, Whitebirch or one of the replacement short courses now being built on the same resort property. The course's playing identity comes from its shorter par, wooded setting and approachable scale rather than from championship length.
History: Breezy Point's Traditional course belongs to the resort's early golf history and is generally described as a 1920s layout. Current scorecard and regional guide sources identify the exact 18-hole routing as par 68 and 5,192 yards. The resort has announced that the Traditional will close on 6 October 2026, after which the site will be redeveloped into the Three Breeze and Ace Valley short-course projects. The operator says Three Breeze will retain some of the former course's holes and character, so the 2026 profile records a closing chapter rather than treating the planned replacement as the existing course.
Did You Know? The former Traditional site is being repurposed into two very different short-course concepts. Breezy Point says Three Breeze will be a 10-hole, par-30 course retaining some Traditional character, while Ace Valley is planned as a 12-hole par-three course. The change means the current 18-hole par-68 routing is also a record of the resort's transition to a new form of golf.
