Overview: TPC Louisiana is a public resort course in Avondale, near New Orleans, set within the wetlands and open ground of the Mississippi River delta. Pete Dye's routing uses water, marsh edges, and broad fairway corridors to create a course that feels specific to south Louisiana.
History: The course debuted in 2004 and was designed by Pete Dye with Steve Elkington and Kelly Gibson. It covers about 250 acres and was developed with the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary program in mind.
Did You Know? The wetlands are central to TPC Louisiana's environmental identity. The course's Audubon designation connects its golf design to habitat, water management, and the protection of the delta setting.
