Overview: Three Hundred Club carries the Shonan plain into the round. The club is a mature Chigasaki members' course on the inland side of the Shonan plain, with a broad 18-hole parkland routing and a documented 6,825-yard par-72 scale. The Tokyu Satellite City Construction Department used the available land to create a course that feels spacious even though the sea and urban edge are close by.
History: Three Hundred Club was established in 1962. Three Hundred Club opened on 23 September 1962. The course was created for a deliberately limited club community, and that founding idea still explains its private character. Later course guides continue to attribute the design to Tokyu's satellite-city construction department and describe a bent or korai-green layout of substantial length.
Did You Know? The name refers to the original concept of a club limited to 300 places. It is a piece of institutional history rather than a playing tip, and it helps distinguish this course from the many Japanese clubs whose names simply describe their location.
