Thistle Golf Club (MacKay/Cameron)

Overview: Thistle Golf Club's MacKay/Cameron routing is a public 18-hole combination within a 27-hole facility at Sunset Beach. Tim Cate is the architect listed by the operator, and the three-nine format means the exact daily combination should be checked before quoting hole-specific facts.

History: The club's three nines, Cameron, MacKay and Stewart, opened in the late 1990s as part of the Sunset Beach golf market. The current operator identifies the 27-hole facility and lists Tim Cate for the named routings, while course references date the facility to 1999.

Did You Know? MacKay/Cameron is one of three possible 18-hole combinations at Thistle. The name is not a separate 36-hole club, and a published scorecard may describe a different pair of nines on another day.
