Overview: TPC Boston presents a private 18-hole layout in Norton, Massachusetts, originally designed by Arnold Palmer and later reshaped by Gil Hanse with Brad Faxon as player consultant. Its fairways and bentgrass greens fit a New England landscape of rolling ground, mature trees, wetlands, fescue and native grasses.
History: TPC Boston opened in 2002 and was redesigned in 2007. The Hanse work retained the basic course while giving it a more natural New England appearance, after which the course became a regular PGA TOUR playoff venue.
Did You Know? The site had earlier industrial uses, including charcoal and lumber production and gravel mining, before it became a golf course.
