Overview: Preserve/Savannah is an 18-hole combination of two nine-hole routings at The Club at The Strand in Naples. The private club's 27-hole complex uses lakes, preserves and mature landscaping to give each combination a different character.
History: The Strand opened in 1997 with three nines named Savannah, Sabal and Preserve, all credited to Gordon Lewis. The directory entry records the Preserve/Savannah combination, not a separate 18-hole construction project.
Did You Know? The Savannah and Sabal nines hosted the LPGA Subaru of Naples Invitational from 1998 through 2000. That tournament history belongs to the nine-hole components used in this combination.
