Overview: Millennium/Peirce is the championship combination of Singapore Island Country Club’s 27-hole New Course. It joins two par-36 nines for an 18-hole, par-72 round through the wooded Island site, with the current tournament map giving 7,295 yards in its event configuration. The routing is shaped by dense tropical vegetation, reservoir-edge terrain and strategic changes in width rather than by desert or resort landscaping. It is the combination that most naturally suits a full championship setup, but the greens and angles still reward placement over indiscriminate length.
History: SICC opened the New Course in 2021 after a major redevelopment designed by Australian architect Graham Marsh. The facility is built from three independent nines, Millennium, Peirce and Forest, so the directory’s combination label is an important part of the identity. Millennium/Peirce has also been used for professional events, including the 2025 Singapore Open, while the same two nines remain available as a club combination outside tournament conditions.
Did You Know? The two component nines are each par 36, unlike Forest, which is par 35. That small numerical difference changes the character of the three possible New Course combinations: Millennium/Peirce is par 72, while either combination including Forest is par 71. It is a simple fact, but it helps golfers understand why the database labels should remain separate rather than being collapsed into one generic “New Course” profile.
