Overview: Forest/Millennium is an 18-hole combination at Singapore Island Country Club’s New Course, formed from the Forest and Millennium nines. The two loops have different identities: Forest is the quieter, more enclosed par-35 nine, while Millennium supplies a par-36 half with a more championship-oriented rhythm. Together they create a par-71 round through the wooded Island site, with reservoir-edge vegetation, changing light and the close relationship between fairway lines and the surrounding forest shaping the experience.
History: The New Course opened in 2021 after a major redevelopment of the former New Course land. Australian architect Graham Marsh created three nine-hole loops, Millennium, Peirce and Forest, which can be combined in three different 18-hole pairings. Forest/Millennium is therefore not a duplicate of Millennium/Peirce or Peirce/Forest; it is a current playing configuration with its own par and sequence. The directory label is retained exactly so search results can distinguish the combinations.
Did You Know? Forest/Millennium is often described as one of the more approachable combinations because Forest is the shorter-par nine and the overall par is 71. That does not make it a soft round. The Forest nine has hosted major golf and places a premium on accuracy through the trees, while Millennium adds the longer par-36 test. The contrast is what gives this combination its character.
