The River Golf Club Course

Overview: The River Golf Club Course is a private Greg Norman design in Suwanee, northeast of Atlanta. Its routing occupies a secluded setting beside the Chattahoochee River, using wooded corridors, open fairway space, and changes in elevation to create a course that feels removed from the metropolitan area around it.

History: The River Club was established in 2005 as the centerpiece of a planned community. Norman’s design and the club’s surrounding landscape were developed together, giving the course a residential setting without making the river and wooded land feel incidental to the round.

Did You Know? The River Club is a certified Audubon Sanctuary and sits beside the Chattahoochee River. That environmental designation is part of the course’s identity: the property is managed as habitat as well as a private golf setting.
