Overview: The Ridge at Castle Pines North is a Tom Weiskopf course south of Denver in Castle Rock, Colorado. Roomy fairways, sculpted bunkers and large rolling greens are set across a high-country landscape, giving the layout a measured parkland character and several changes of visual scale.
History: The Ridge opened in 1997 and quickly became part of the Denver area's modern golf landscape. The course was built with multiple tee options so the same routing can be played at lengths ranging from about 5,000 yards to more than 7,000.
Did You Know? The official course overview lists four sets of tees, from 5,000 yards to more than 7,000 yards. That spread is unusually wide for a single 18-hole layout and changes the balance of its long holes.
