Overview: The South Course at The Reserve Vineyards & Golf Club is a par-72 John Fought design in Aloha, Oregon. Mature Oregon trees, rolling ground and more than 60 white-sand bunkers frame a traditional American parkland layout. The course relies on deception and changing angles, with the double green shared by the 11th and 17th adding another architectural point of interest.
History: The Reserve opened in 1997 as a 36-hole facility developed around the South and North courses. John Fought designed the South Course, while Bob Cupp designed the North Course. The Tradition, a PGA Tour Champions major, was played at the facility from 2003 through 2006.
Did You Know? The South Course’s sixth hole measures 605 yards from the back tees and uses eight fairway and greenside bunkers to shape the three-shot decision. The 17th returns the focus to the shared double green and a water feature on the approach side.
