Overview: The Ranch Golf Club is a public course in Southwick, Massachusetts, designed by Damian Pascuzzo across rolling western New England ground. The routing uses ponds, elevation changes, blind approaches and large green surfaces to create a course that asks for distance control as well as patience. Its open corridors are framed by the uneven ground and wooded edges of the region.
History: The course opened in 2001 and was recognized by New England golf organizations as a leading new public project the following year. Pascuzzo's design was built as a daily-fee course with the scale and variety of a championship layout.
Did You Know? The 16th hole is called The Ski Hill and measures 637 yards from the back tees. Several other holes have blind tee shots, so local knowledge and a clear pre-shot plan are useful parts of the round.
