Overview: The Highland Course at The Quechee Club follows the wooded hills and river valleys of central Vermont. Geoffrey Cornish’s design uses the land’s natural changes in elevation, with tree-lined corridors and open approaches that give the course a distinctly New England rhythm.
History: The Quechee Club was established in 1970, with Geoffrey Cornish responsible for the Highland Course. Hurricane Irene later damaged 27 of the club’s 36 holes, and a rebuilding project led to the courses’ 2015 reopening.
Did You Know? The Quechee Club’s two 18-hole courses are linked by the Ottauquechee River setting and a covered bridge that has become part of the club’s visual identity.
