Overview: The Quarry Golf Club is a public-access 18-hole course in Canton, Ohio, built through the dramatic remains of an old quarry. Brian Huntley’s design uses cliffs, waste areas, streams, lakes, rock outcrops, and wooded fairways to give each hole a distinct visual and strategic setting.
History: The course opened for play in 2006 under Brian Huntley’s design. Rather than concealing the industrial history of the property, the layout incorporates the quarry’s existing landforms and water features into a target-style course that remains playable from several teeing grounds.
Did You Know? Some of The Quarry’s natural cliffs rise more than 100 feet above the playing corridors. They are not decorative earthworks added after the fact; they are part of the site’s former quarry landscape and help define the course’s identity.
