Overview: The Preserve Golf Club at Tara is an 18-hole, par-72 semi-private course in Bradenton. Its natural Florida character comes from wetlands, more than 50 ponds, ancient oaks, tall pines and wildlife around the residential community.
History: Tara's master association and course references identify Ted McAnlis as the designer and place the opening in 2001. The course is open for public play as well as membership options, which is why the access label is semi-private.
Did You Know? The Tara community describes the course as having 52 lakes. Water is therefore a defining part of the course setting, not just an occasional hazard.
