Overview: The Palms Golf Club at Forest Lakes is a par-64 public course in Sarasota. Its front nine plays to par 35 and its back nine to par 29, with elevated greens, water features and Celebration fairways defining the compact layout.
History: The current course page credits Gordy Lewis with the design and publishes the par breakdown. The available current material does not provide a verified opening year, so the profile does not infer one from the former Forest Lakes name.
Did You Know? The front and back nines have different scoring identities: par 35 on the front and par 29 on the back. That split explains why an 18-hole round can still feel unusually compact.
