Overview: Heron is the second private 18-hole course at The Oaks Club in Osprey. The club presents it as a tree-lined routing with doglegs and a more enclosed visual character than Eagle.
History: The Oaks Club identifies Jason Straka as the Heron designer. The sources reviewed discuss the course and later improvement work but do not establish a reliable opening year for this routing.
Did You Know? Eagle and Heron are not two versions of one scorecard. They are distinct Oak Club routings, and Heron's Jason Straka design credit sets it apart from the Hills, Forrest and Smith work on Eagle.
Add this course to your collection, document your round, and earn regional badges.
