Overview: The Moorings is the short, coastal-oriented 18-hole course associated with The Moorings Club in Vero Beach. Official club material presents it as an intimate Pete and Alice Dye design shaped by the Indian River Lagoon setting.
History: The club's story identifies the Signature course as a par-64 design and explains that the property later acquired Hawk's Nest, a separate 36-hole Jim Fazio facility. That history matters because the Moorings and Hawk's Nest are part of the same club ecosystem but are not the same routing.
Did You Know? The club calls the Moorings course a Little Gem. The nickname reflects its compact par-64 identity and is not a claim about a ranking.
