Overview: Terrapin Point is a private 18-hole Willard C. Byrd course at The Landings in Savannah. The layout measures 6,837 yards at par 72 and moves through coastal marsh, maritime vegetation, and broad lowcountry ground. Its strongest character comes from the way the holes open toward the waterways around the community.
History: Terrapin Point opened in March 1982 as part of The Landings' original golf development. Clyde Johnston later gave the course a facelift in 2004, updating its playing details while retaining Byrd's coastal routing.
Did You Know? Holes 8 through 10 look across marsh toward Adams Creek and Ossabaw Sound. The sequence makes the surrounding tidal landscape an active part of the visual experience rather than a distant view.
