The Golf Club at Yankee Trace (Heritage/Legend)

Overview: The Heritage/Legend combination at Yankee Trace is a public 18-hole composite in Centerville, Ohio. Gene Bates’ routing uses rolling ground, water, bunkers and residential edges to create a modern municipal test with several decisions about how aggressively to play.

History: Yankee Trace began with Gene Bates’ original course and later expanded to three named nines. The Heritage/Legend row identifies one specific rotation rather than a fixed standalone layout, while the directory date records the earlier course phase.

Did You Know? Heritage, Legend and Vintage are the three names used for Yankee Trace’s nines, which is why the yardage depends on the selected 18-hole pairing and tee set.
